Entertaining the Neighbors on Thursday Evening

On Thursday evening, Addison was playing in Grammie and Papa's yard.  She was having a great time... then she had crowds of neighbors walking their dog that stopped to watch several times.  An audience made it even better.

Addison is LOVING our time at Grammie and Papa's house.

 Reading books with Papa.  She picked this one out at the library- it's about math.  For those of you who don't know, Papa is a retired math teacher.

 Fun picnic Saturday with Taylor, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Bobby.  We spent 3 hours in the beautiful sunshine.  The girls rode their scooters and played at the playground.  Such a great time!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!  My helper getting the rolls ready for our traditional New Years good luck dinner!  I have been terrible about taking pictures lately... I need to start taking some more!

New Years Eve

On New Years Eve, we went out with some friends to the Japanese restaurant Kumo.  This was Addison's first experience at a Hibachi restaurant (other than as a baby). 

 Addison wasn't quite sure what to think about the fire.  She saw the table next to us first, so then was a little worried for the flame to be so close to us!

 So funny- Melanie had her eyes covered, Addison had her ears covered!
